Lisa Cabalzar

Lisa Cabalzar

I studied at Curtin University Western Australia and have been employed in private practice for over 20 years and have been at Castlegate since 2008. I am registered with AHPRA and am also a member of The Australian Dental and Oral Health Therapists' Association. I regularly attend courses and study days for continued education.

I have a great interest treating and caring for children and adults with special needs and those with high dental anxiety levels.

Through my experience over the years treating and caring for patients in the field of dentistry I am seeing very pleasing results with improvements in oral hygiene and maintenance of good health. These results have a direct effect in the reduction of restorations and extractions in our community.

I like to think that in the future there will be many centenarians with a full set of their own teeth!

I studied Dental Clinic Assisting at Wembley Annexe TAFE in the year 2000, I then worked in the suburbs for about 5 years then the city for 10 years. I started working for Castlegate Family Dental Care on a part-time basis then i now work here full time,  mostly with Dr Mark Foster. I  thoroughly enjoy working with Dr Foster and all the children,  and going to Southbank Day Hospital once a week. I love decorating the practice for all the important dates of the year. In my spare time I love taking my SUPP board out and going out for dinner with family and friends.

Ashlyn Dodgson

Ashlyn Dodgson

I studied through the Central Institute of Technology at the Oral Health Centre of Western Australia for 18 months, completing both my Certificate 3 and 4 in Dental Assisting. Along the way I have experienced dental care in school services, government clinics, Private Practice and hospital theatres, gathering a wealth of experience and knowledge in the treatment of both children and adults in a variety of different procedures.

I enjoy new challenges and am always determined to learn as much as possible. Under great leadership during my training at various clinics and mentorship of staff at Castlegate Dental I have already gained so much experience since becoming a fully qualified DCA. I am hoping to next expand my knowledge to front desk duties and look forward to the challenges and rewards this venture will bring.
